BACKSTORY

I graduated from The University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning in 2010 with a degree in Urban Studies, focusing on community design. Since starting my career as a user experience designer in 2017, I have honed my expertise in crafting thoughtful, user-centered solutions across various industries.

I am passionate about visual design, impact driven design, and functional design.

METHODOLOGY

I specialize in translating big, nebulous ideas into clear, actionable product steps. Whether it’s drafting concepts, creating high-fidelity mockups for websites and responsive desktop software, or focusing on mobile-first design,

I ensure every project is grounded in user needs and business goals.

I build Figma Design Libraries and brand guidelines to empower teams and foster consistency. Collaboration with developers—both pre- and post-launch—is central to my process, as is crafting marketing and strategy materials to support broader objectives.

Over the last seven years, I’ve worn many hats in small startups, thriving in dynamic environments where adaptability is key.

I’ve led three startups—two as a founding designer—

working closely with CEOs, CTOs, and stakeholders to shape and execute company visions. My approach blends strategic thinking with a deep respect for the end user, championing research and thoughtful solutions that balance financial and time constraints.

As a seasoned software product designer, I bring a holistic perspective to solving complex problems, ensuring that every solution balances user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. My ability to think strategically, paired with excellent communication skills, enables me to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders to create impactful designs that drive results.
